Horizons in Trout Lake
Trout Lake has a new resource for reducing poverty. The Horizons Program, managed by Washington State University Extension, provided leadership training for several folks. Over 60 people participated in the Horizons study circles and four then went to Moses Lake for additional training. This was a great learning experience, as we were able to exchange information with other communities and individuals.
This was exciting and enlightening to learn about other communities and how they are dealing with changing times and the resulting poverty. A very positive information sharing experience for all involved.
